Lift & Shake (Salt & Pepper Shaker)

This is a wonderful conversation piece because it gets everybody's attention. Our little weight lifter is actually a salt and pepper shaker. The barbells have salt on one side and pepper on the other and a simple twist on the end locks them closed or open. Strong on practicality, heavy on charm, the little muscle man is weighted so the dispenser never falls over.

There used to be a standard rule, that the salt shaker had more holes and the pepper shaker had less holes - or was it the other way around? Apparently, over time, nobody remembers which is which so they all have the same amount of holes. Our barbell has a clear panel on the end that attaches to the bar so you can clearly see which one is which. It's also useful to know when it's time to refill the shakers, or you can wait until nothing comes out anymore and that's a pretty good signal.
