The package says "*some assembly required". In reality, it's disassembly. These items are all formed in a snap off mold so you can get all your utensils at once. You get a plate, knife, fork, spoon and chopsticks. In fact, each package has 4 sets and is packed 1 color per package. By the way, you also get a napkin ring and toothpick for after dinner. They're sturdy, they're fun and they'll make your party the one everybody talks about.
